FREE Mental Health Training for small Voluntary Sector Organisation staff, volunteers and local people (brought to you by North Glasgow Healthy Living Community in partnership with The North Glasgow Mental Health Network)

Mental Health First Aid
Four half day sessions 9.00am – 12.30pm
Wednesday mornings starting:
Oct 6, 20, 27 & 3 Nov 2010

A training course that helps people to recognise the signs and symptoms of someone with mental health problems; to respond to various mental health crises, engage with, support and signpost people to appropriate professional help.

Who its for:
Public, managers, especially frontline staff in voluntary sector agencies.

Suicide Alertness For Everyone - is a half-day day training that can help you make a difference. Learn to identify people with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. This training prepares you to be a suicide alert helper.

Everyone! Safe TALK is suitable for community members and professionals.
