Our Financial Literacy Programme offers refugees the following free workshops:
Bank Accounts –What you need to know– Tuesday 21st September Find out about different bank accounts and their features.
Budgeting – Take control – Wednesday 22nd September Manage and make the most of your money.
Borrowing and Debt – Thursday 23rd September Learn about options and associated rates of interest.
Utility Bills – Giving you the power – Wednesday 29th September Learn how to understand gas and electricity and how to get a better deal.
Insurance – Thursday 30th September Learn what’s available and how to protect your possessions.
Moving Into Work – Monday 4th October Learn about issues like tax, national insurance, minimum wage and changes to benefits.
Starting Your Own Business – Thursday 8th October Take the first steps to learn about starting your own business.
All courses are delivered in English. All participants will also have access to a free crèche while the workshops are taking place.
